ABOUT us
We are Crystal and Oliver, a wife & husband team and founding partners of Petropolis Pet Sitting. We are licensed and insured in Clayton County, GA, servicing clients in the Atlanta South Metro area. Our business has enjoyed a continuous steady growth since 2020, and we now offer an expanding range of pet sitting services for our many clients.

We have extensive pet care experience, having cared for our own family dogs since 1998
as well as cats, dogs, goats, chickens, fish, birds, calves, and other farm animals through-
out childhood years. Our current pack consists of 5 dogs, mostly supermutts, ranging
from 3 to 16 years, and ranging in size from 8 - 60 pounds.
Our team has experience with dogs ranging from toy breeds to XL dogs of 150+ pounds,
as well as newborn puppies and seniors. We have worked with aggressive personalities,
dogs requiring training, senior dogs, and those with special needs. Special needs dogs
under our care range from being deaf, blind, requiring daily insulin injections, and having
to walk with a wheelchair cart due to paralysis of hind legs.

Our team also has extensive feline experience, involving personal pets from previous years, as well as providing care for the 20+ current cat clients that are in our regular rotation, all requiring different levels of care, including special needs.
Our 'other' animal experience encompasses feeding fish for a couple of clients, tending to chickens, bottle feeding goats, and care of a variety of species of birds for some clients. If you have a special species request for your pet, please let us know, as we are open to requests for new animals. Bottom line, we love animals, and we strive to take care of your furry family members with as much attention, love, and care as if they were part of our own pack.
We offer a range of special services, including: administration of medications, dental care, nail trimming, anal gland expression, and basic bathing and grooming options.
We offer a "pet taxi" option for clients needing assistance getting your pet(s) to and from Veterinarian or grooming appointments.

When we care for your pets, they are treated like family, and we are always excited to add new pets to our "Petropolis Pet Pack".

Our Team of trusted pet sitters
After previously running her own business as a Mortgage Broker, Crystal decided to try her hand as a dog walker on Rover in November of 2018. Through word-of-mouth referrals and glowing Rover reviews, she decided to branch out and start Petropolis Pet Sitting in March of 2020. Crystal's passion for animals is a primary driver for the business, and providing a safe and compassionate experience for your pet(s) is goal number one. Crystal is available for dog walks, cat check-ins, companion visits, staycations in client's homes, dog baths, and nail trims.

After more than 25 years in the corporate world, post-covid, Oliver parlayed his love for animals to join Crystal and Petropolis for a more gratifying career as a pet caretaker. As the business has grown, Oliver is now full time and focuses primarily on the playdate segment (aka daycare), in addition to companion visits, dog walks, and cat check-ins for our many offsite clients. Oliver's service specialties include dog baths as well as anal gland expressions.
After attending the North Carolina School of the Arts in her hometown of Winston-Salem, Jess moved to Atlanta in 2016 to pursue a career in the film industry. After 6 years and several industry-driven work stoppages, she decided to leave the film world to pursue her true passion of working with animals. She has been working with Petropolis since March of 2023, doing dog walks, companion visits, cat check-ins, and staycations in client's homes. Jess is also our resident expert dog groomer providing a wide range of salon services including: haircuts, styling/maintenance and grooming/bathing options for most breeds. Jess’s service portfolio includes designer breeds, small dogs and, of course, supermutts. If you have a dog in need of a do, Jess is sure to meet all of your grooming needs. Brad has been working with Petropolis since October 2022. Love for animals is a common theme at Petropolis, and Brad's easy going style makes him one of our client favorites for in-home staycations, companion visits, cat check-ins, and dog walks. Brad is currently focusing on our clients in Fayette County and the surrounding areas.

Dog Walks:

30 Minutes, starting at $35*​

Up to 60 minutes, add $20 to 30 minute rate

2 or more dogs will incur a $15 per dog fee, added to the above rates

Our standard service area covers zip code 30236 (Jonesboro) and the surrounding 10 miles, for all in-home services. Additional distance may be possible, based on current volume. Are you Licensed and Insured: Yes, we are licensed in Clayton County, GA and are insured with Lloyd's of London.
​What methods of payment do you take? We accept cash, check, Venmo, and PayPal
Do you offer a bulk rate for multiple pets in the same household? Our current pricing starts as a base rate, with each additional pet incurring an additional charge. A quote will be provided at or after the meet and greet. Your booking will not be confirmed until you have agreed to the quoted rate.
Is there a max number of visits you can provide each day? Your specific care needs may be discussed at the meet and greet and we can map out a schedule for your individual situation. To date, 3 has been the max number of visits per day
Do you provide 24/7 care for my pets while I am away? Our staycation service in your home covers a minimum of 12 hours (overnight and a couple of pop-ins, 4 hours apart throughout the day). If you require 24/7 care, we can discuss at our meet and greet and determine the appropriate schedule and price for this service.
Will we always have the same sitter? We will do our best to be consistent with sitters, but due to current scheduling, your pet(s) may see multiple sitters during a single booking. We will communicate with you, in advance, if this is the case.
